Derek DeGeest talks with Tea Area robotics students about how a human being is complicated, complex, and dynamic. It is hard for a robot to replicate human movement. A robot that can do what a human can do simply doesn’t exist, but robots can work with humans. There are tasks well suited for robots in an industrial manufacturing environment.Students view the automated conveyor system within the new robotic paint line. Explaining how Lesta robots automatically make code that copy human movements. And, the conversation continued to discussing the time savings of this technology versus off-line programming. These kids get it!
